VK3UR Internet Remote Base
Software Required, Setup and On-Line Help:
To utilise the system you will need to go to Stan's, W4MQ's, web site, download and install the following software onto your MS Windows based system: In the "Configure > Logon Setup" menu you will need to add the following entry:

LABEL:IP/URL:IRB STATION:USERNAME:PASSWD:
VK3URwww.daves-portal.comVK3URYour callpassword

Once you have downloaded the software you may access the receiver on the VK3UR IRB system by using the following details:

USERNAME:guest
PASSWD:123
Time Limit:10 Minutes

Audio Setup:
Audio from the Internet Remote Base can be accessed 3 ways:

  1. Skype: Download Skype from www.skype.com and establish a connection to vk3ur_remotebase (1st choice).
  2. IRBSound: Download WebSound (IRBSound) from www.w4mq.com/download/ and install it (2nd choice).
  3. MS NetMeeting: Install MS NetMeeting and use with the downloaded Web Transceiver application (last choice).
